Arnold T. Grisham - Chairman, President & CEO
President and Chief Executive Officer and organizing founder of Alta Alliance Bank in Oakland, California and Executive Vice President of its holding company, Western Alliance Bancorporation, from 2006 to 2010; founder and managing partner of Grisham Group, an executive placement firm, from 2002 to 2006; previously President and Chief Operating Officer of Civic Bancorp and Civic Bank of Commerce in Oakland, California from 1999 to 2001; from 1981 to 1999 he held a series of management positions at Wells Fargo & Co., including Executive Vice President from 1994 to 1999; Board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, 2008 to 2010.
Glen Lezama - Executive Vice President & CCO
Glen has over 30 years of experience assisting a wide variety of privately held local businesses with customer financing solutions for expansion, real property acquisition and investment in capital equipment. Before joining Tri-Valley Bank, Glen was Chief Credit Officer of Alta Alliance Bank and Diablo Valley Bank. Prior to that, Glen was a Relationship Manager at Bay Bank of Commerce in San Ramon and Commercial Loan Manager for California Bank and Trust's San Francisco Region. From 1994 to 1999, Glen managed Union Bank of California's SBA function for Northern and Central California. Glen holds a degree from Queen's Royal College, Trinidad and Tobago, and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
Marshall Griffin- Senior Vice President & CFO
Marshall has 15 years of financial management experience in commercial, mortgage and investment banking. Most recently, Marshall was the CFO for CMG Financial, a privately held mortgage lender and servicer in San Ramon, California from 2009 through April, 2014. Prior to that, he was the founding CFO for Alta Alliance Bank in Oakland, California from 2006 through 2009. Marshall holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, a MBA from ESADE in Barcelona, Spain, and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

A resident of Livermore, California, Mr. Hundal is the Chairman of the Bank. Mr. Hundal has spent the past 26 years with CKE restaurants, the owner of Carl’s Jr. Restaurants. From 1977 to 1990, Mr. Hundal was employed by CKE in various positions from Assistant Manager to Regional Vice President. Mr. Hundal was transferred to the Bay Area in 1985 to oversee the operation of all the Carl’s Jr. Restaurants from Monterey to Santa Rosa, a chain of restaurants which had over 2,000 employees and generated over $80 million in sales. For the past five years Mr. Hundal has served as President of the Carl’s Jr. Franchise Association, which represents over 500 Carl’s Jr. locations. Mr. Hundal and his family have lived in the Tri-Valley area for 24 years. During this time he has been affiliated with a number of organizations including; The Lions Club, 65 Roses Club, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Bay Area Chapter of the American Cancer Society, Livermore Valley Education Foundation and Shepherd's Grace Women's Shelter.
Dr. DeLano graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinarian Medicine in 1987. In 1989 Dr. DeLano was co-founder of Norris Canyon Veterinary Medical Center of San Ramon, which is now known as Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center.
Career Banking Executive, retired since 2009. Served at Wells Fargo Bank from 1996 to 2009 as Head of Auto Dealer Commercial Services and as Regional Manager of the San Francisco Commercial Banking Region. Director of Portfolio Management at Bank of America from 1991 to 1996. Prior to that he served for 23 yeas at Wells Fargo Bank in a variety of management positions.
Director of Diversity at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP, a law firm. Co-founder of the California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP). Prior to that, he served as General Counsel at LaSalle Bank from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, he worked at Wells Fargo and company for 29 years, serving as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for 21 years.
Robert A. Dimino
A resident of San Ramon, California, Mr. Dimino is a director of the Bank. He has practiced law in Fremont, California for 29 years. His legal practice is concentrated in the areas of business, real estate and family law. Mr. Dimino served as a director of Heritage Bank East Bay from 1998 to 2004 and served as the Chairman of the bank’s Audit committee during that time. He is the former treasurer and legal counsel to the California Apartment Owners Association.
Mr. Lefanowicz currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Provident Funding Associates, the 2nd largest wholesale mortgage lender in the US. He is the founder of iLoan and a former director of Heritage Commerce Corporation and eLoan, Inc., where he was also COO. A former partner of Coopers & Lybrand, he was the national partner in charge of Internal Audit Services. He is a graduate of University of Wyoming.
David L. Beretta
Mr. Beretta co-founded Vintaco, Inc., a private business and real estate management firm specializing in the management of partnerships and limited liability companies. He manages investments and agricultural operations in Bakersfield, CA. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of real estate portfolios. Mr. Beretta attended the University of the Pacific, graduating with a BS degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Santa Clara University. His current and past affiliations include: Director, Southern Hardwood Traffic Assoc.; Fremont Rotary; City of Fremont Advisory Board- Centerville Specific Plan; City of Fremont- Advisory Boards; Centerville redevelopment PAC; University of the Pacific- Insitute for Family Business. Mr. Beretta also served as director from 1998 to 2002 for Heritage Bank East Bay, a subsidiary of Heritage Commerce Corporation.
Mr. Robert E. Obana is the Executive Director and CEO of the Northern California Institute for Research and Education (NCIRE), the nation’s leading biomedical research institute associated with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Before joining NCIRE, Bob was the CFO and Director of Finance for the Public Policy Institute of California, this after serving over 20 years at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) his latest assignment as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Budget and Finance. Other notable positions, Bob served as the Western Regional Manager with KPMG, LLP in higher education and healthcare consulting practice and was Vice President for Finance and Administration and CFO at Alliant International University. Bob is a member of the Statewide Leadership Council for the Public Policy Institute of California, and is also a member of the National Association for Veterans Research and Education Foundations. Bob’s community service includes board membership KALI, Inc. Assisted Living Facility, and the Japan Society of Northern California. Bob received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and his Masters of Business Administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA.
